Himalayan Dog Chews, also known as "churpi's" or "yak cheese" are cheese snacks for dogs made from 100% cow's milk without any additives, due to the preparation process virtually lactose free. Based on an ancient recipe from the Himalayas, but made in Belgium in an ISO and HFS certified factory!

Why not from Nepal? Most of these snacks currently on the market come from India or China, as milk products may not be imported from Nepal. The claim that milk from yaks is used is also often incorrect and if this is exceptionally the case, it is no more than 5% (i.e. 95% cow's milk). In addition, products from India, China or Nepal are often smoked to keep out vermin during the drying process in the open air, which, contrary to what one might think, has a negative influence on the taste.
